Vigdis Rosenkilde Chocolates 

Vigdis is Norwegian but sources her beans directly from farmers within a small region of the Upper Amazon in Peru. All bean processing is also done locally, supporting the local economy and community. Her chocolates were Gold Award Winners in 2023 from both the International Chocolate Awards and the Academy of Chocolate! Here is a recent interview where she talks about her journey. Available for purchase: Santa Ana 70% and Echarate 70%

L'Instant Cacao, by Marc Chinchole

By the age of 25, Marc completed his training in pastry and chocolate, worked under some of the best houses and then opened his own bean to bar chocolate making shop in 2018! He is extremely passionate about visiting origins to source his beans and makes everything in Paris, just above the Jardins du Palais Royale. Available for purchase: Philippines and Mexico origins.

Chocolat Baure

The Wild Beni Bolivia 55% dark milk chocolate is made exclusively with wild cacao from the Bolivian Amazon. These cacao beans grow without any human intervention, the result of a process of nature happening exclusively in the Amazon rainforest. The cacao is picked and fermented by the natives with respect to their ancient culture, sun dried in the forest and processed with passion.

Cacaosuyo

“The best kept secret of the Incas,” Cacaosuyo chocolates are made directly at origin in Peru. Cacaosuyo was founded in 2012 by two Peruvian entrepreneurs, and has been winning awards since its inception. Minimally processed chocolate bars express each cacao strain’s unique flavor profile in delicious clarity. Their unrivaled attention to detail and direct trade practices are key in improving the lives of producers and preserving rare varietals that would otherwise be lost. Fjak Chocolate

This 70% Women's Micro Lot dark chocolate is made exclusively with cocoa from 3 women-headed farms in Tanzania. This cacoa has an extra cost per kilo. These excess charges on the Women’s Lot are used to support a scholarship program that pays for 10 students from the village area to finish high school.
