A rich hybrid loaf cake that tastes like a French pain d’épices but has the rich moistness of a Rosh Hashanah honey cake. Available is several sizes and two ‘flavor strengths.
This delicious cake is my very own family recipe that has the same sweet & spiced holiday flavor as a French pain d’épice, but with the moist richness of a traditional Rosh Hashanah honey cake - because it’s made with SO much honey! The type of honey even affects the color of the cake. Delicious to enjoy alone, with coffee, or sliced thinner with to serve with the holiday meal, this is a great treat to savor. Naturally dairy free unless iced, it can keep for up to 10 days once unwrapped, so long as you keep it wrapped up tight or in an airtight container. Can also be frozen or kept in the fridge for several weeks before serving.
