15 October 2025, 18h: Discovering Chocolate Tasting - Spotlight on South America
Initiate yourself into the world of fine flavor craft chocolate from Latin America with this chocolate-infused evening, hosted at the Bohemian Poésie cafe in the 11th arrondissement, reserved just for us.
In this intimate evening session, Lisa will introduce you to fine flavor cacao and how it is transformed into incredible craft chocolate, and share several incredible bars with you from her travels and personal collection. As a chocolate education, certified taster and judge for both the Academy of Chocolate and the International Chocolate awards, Lisa meets with other tasters and attends international festivals throughout the year, meeting chocolate makers, cacao growers, importers and other industry stakeholders from across the supply chain, collecting stories, idea, and of course plenty of chocolate! Learn the basics of how to taste chocolate like a pro, and experience the tasting profiles of a variety artisanal bars made from beans harvested in Peru, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and El Salvador. These beans have been harvested from the cradle of the species Theobroma cacao and transformed by various French and international artisans into true ‘Food of the Gods.’ In this light but informative discovery evening, newbies and experienced tasters alike will delight in the tasting journey. Many of the bars you taste will be exclusively available through Tarts & Truffles, and each will bring you a surprising flavor explosion like you’ve never experienced before!
At the end of the tasting, choose a beverage from Poésie’s delicious menu (coffee, tea, matcha, infusions, etc) to test pairing with your favorite chocolates or simply to enjoy.
A limited selection of tablets will also be available for you to purchase at direct rates.
